Dear community,

Every time when I try to install ToolSuite 3.2 I encounter an error that you may see in attachment. My environment is properly set up, I am using windows xp, sun java sdk 6.0 and eclipse Ganymede.

Why does installation of DevelopmentBox fail?

Regards,
Nikola

Hello Nikola,

Could you please attach a finalize.log file from the installation directory, we could get more information from there. Or any other *.log files could also help.

Hi Renat,

Please check finalize.log and install.log taken from {home_dir}\SOPERA\Devebox folder. finalize.log includes only a few raws of data.

Nikola

Hi Nikola,
the problem is your JavaHome directory. The ToolSuite 3.2 installer is not able to work with "()" in path names. The problem is fixed with the ToolSuite 3.3, which will be published in March.
Best regards
Carsten

Hi Nikola,
I see in the finalize.log that you use
JAVA_HOME=F:\\Program Files (x86)\\Java\\jdk1.6.0_05.
"Program Files (x86)" is the problem for the installer. If you use i diffrent JavaHome, you will not have this problem.
The ToolSuite is only a windows application.

Carsten
