Talend Open Studio SOPERA Integration

Hello,

i was trying to "install" the talend open studio integration into talend, but the components "tSOPERAxxx" are not visible in eclipse. I followed the instructions in the guide (Copying the foldern into..... copy jar to.....).

Software I'm using:
- Talend Open Studio 3.2.3
- Sopera ASF 3.2
- Windows 7

also tried with TOS 4.0 RC2.
In the modules view, there you can see that the jar files arent used:

Hello Stefan,

you have include the following into each tSOPERAxxx.xml files

<FAMILIES>
<FAMILY>SOPERA</FAMILY>
</FAMILIES>

Additionally it is to say, that the code must be placed behind the <HEADER> tag. First I put it at the end and it didn't work.

Why this bug isnt already fixed?! - strange.

Hallo Stefan,

sorry that i did not send you the whole file.

There is another problem. I do not know, if the actual version of the SOPERA
components includes a bugfix to provide multithreading capabilities for the components.

Maybe they will be delivered with the next version.

Hello,

yes we had some problems but they are solved :). The Webservices are
implemented and used in a productive environment to enrich incoming
events. Performance and stability is fine.

AFAIK it's still an open issue with SOPERA Talend components.

Please address the SOPERA support for solution.

BTW just got confirmation, the problem with missing "<FAMILY>" elements in description is fixed in SOPERA 3.3 Talend Components. However please note that SOPERA 3.3 Talend Components are not binary compatible with SOPERA 3.2 SBB.

i have the same problem to integrate talend and sopera...

i installed all components and jar files, but in the talend open studio the tSopera.... components are not available...

The family tag is included in each xml file.

Software I'm using:
- Talend Open Studio 4.2
- Sopera ASF 3.3.1
- Windows XP
