Hallo

i tried to install Version 3.3 on Windows7 64-bit and the installation doesn´t work. Examining the problem, I think the reason is the unusual PATH on 64-bit Windows systems with several '.. (x86).. ' parts is the reason. (This problem can also occur for other software installations)
I changed the PATH Variable temporary and deleted this parts.
Then the installation works normally and the infrastructure and all other parts
are working fine.

Hello Heinz-Werner,

Thank you for the tip. What exactly wasn't working? How can we check it?

AFAIK we always had some issues with windows installation because of the limitation of the file pathes (we have a deeply nested directory structures) therefore we always recommend to install sopera into C:/SOPERA or similar.

Also in SOP 3.3 release notes we have this part:

http://www.sopera.de/SOP-Library/ASF_33/Release_Notes/Release_Notes_for_SOPERA_ESB/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm#context=Release_Notes_for_SOPERA_ESB&file=esb_release_notes.2.9.html

Hello Renat,

i tried to install SOPERA 3.3 at home on a Windows7 64-bit system. The installation fails at setting the PATH variable. Because I experienced from other installations on Windows 64-bit systems, that the PATH includes '..(x86)..' characters and these parts of the PATH causes problems, i deleted those parts before installing. ( I did not find another workaround )
Then the installation works fine.
