Hello,

i downloaded the Sopera Toolsuite 3.2, and i'm trying to install it on Windows XP. Now i'm at the Sopera DevelopmentBox 3.2 Setup on the Installoptions page, where it asks for "Location" on the bottom. What exactly do i write there when my install folder is C:\SOPERA ?

Nothing seems to work...it says not valid directory for anything i tried.

Thanks in Advance.

Hello,
The location field has nothing to do with the target directory of the installation.
The location is the configuration scope (http://www.sopera.de/SOP-Library/ASF_32/Technical_Reference/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=Configuration_Reference_Guide/crg_configuration_reference_guide.2.18.html)from which the Development Box shall obtain its configuration.

Please use the same as you selected while installing the ServiceBackbone. There it is the top field of the ServiceBackbone parameters field. The default value is 'generic_location'.

The reason why this parameter is asked during installation is, that we want to provide the opportunity to run a local development and test client with a remote SOPERA infrastructure, which might have different names for the configuration scopes.

In case you only intend to use the ToolSuite standalone it is the easiest to to install completely using the default values of the installation parameters.

Greetings,
Jörg
